Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using epicFORGE ("the Service"), operated by epicSPOTLIGHT LLC ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

epicFORGE is an AI-powered professional positioning platform that helps users discover, articulate, and deploy their professional brand through guided interviews, brand profile generation, and content creation tools.

3. Accounts & Registration

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• One person per account — shared accounts are not permitted

4. Subscriptions & Billing

epicFORGE offers tiered subscription plans billed monthly. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within the first 14 days of a new subscription.

5. Your Content & Data

You retain ownership of all content you provide (interview responses, brand information, uploaded materials). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process this content through our AI systems solely to deliver the Service to you. We do not sell your data or use it to train AI models.

6. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI (brand profiles, bios, content pieces) is provided as a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing and customizing all generated content before publishing. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated output for any specific purpose.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to promote illegal activities
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or circumvent the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Resell or redistribute generated content as a competing service

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. epicSPOTLIGHT LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
